Here is the car with the engine, exhaust, fuel tank, and radiator removed.
The flywheel if out of the car and with a little heat from the torch, afew taps of the hammer and the ring gear is off.
The Flywheel has been cut to remove the excess material from outside the clutch circumference. This makes the flywheel a few pounds lighter since it will be turning up to 6000 rpm.
This pattern was made from the transmission housing with the addition of some "wings" to provide support for the transmission and electric motor.
The Adaptor plate is in the press brake having the "wings bent at the proper angle for the vibration dampers.
The adapter plate in position. All that is left is a motor spacer, flywheel mounting adapter and the vibration dampers. But that's enough work for today.
